Silver Bay YMCA Conference Center - Housing Options
The campus of the Silver Bay YMCA Conference Center offers several housing options for retreat participants. Silver Bay's accommodations are simple and basic. Unlike most hotel facilities, there are no phones or TV's in the rooms. All rooms are clean with simple furnishings.
One consideration in making your housing selection is the distance to and from the meeting and dining halls. Silver Bay's campus is spread out, so if extra walking is a consideration for you, you may want to request a single or double in the Inn, Bayview Lodge or Spengler Hall. Cottages are sprinkled throughout the campus, so if you select a cottage accommodation, please know you may have a walk up to a half a mile to the meeting and dining halls.

Single or Double w/ Private Bath
Rooms have a private bath - toilet, sink and either shower or tub/shower. They can be on the first, second or third floor. Be prepared to walk up one or two flights of stairs; not all lodges have elevators. Rooms with private baths are in The Inn or Bayview Lodge.
A National Registry Building, the Inn is a charming building with Adirondack-style architecture. It has been newly renovated. Bayview Lodge is more utilitarian in its style. It has a common lounge on the first floor.
Single or Double Economy w/ Shared Bath
In rooms with a shared bath, toilet and shower facilities are at the end of the hall. Some rooms have sinks. These rooms can be on a first, second or third floor. Be prepared to walk up one or two flights of stairs. These more economical rooms are located in The Inn and Spengler Hall. Spengler Hall offers the most modest accommodations on the campus.
Single or Double Cottage w/ Shared Bath
Silver Bay cottages are rustic and without frills. Each has at least one bathroom and ranges in size from 2-4 bedrooms. All have kitchen facilities. Most have a common room and front porch. Cottages are located around campus. Some are uphill and up to a half mile walking distance from the meeting and dining halls.
