"Finally,
there is miraculously, instantly, a recognition of oneself as spacious, free, at peace. Consciousness aware of itself. The truth of
who one is."

The Video Satsang Program began in 1993 in Cynthia Carter's living room when she invited some friends over to watch a videotape of a public meeting with Gangaji. Today, in North America and around the world, over 140 groups gather regularly to sit in silence and watch Gangaji on videotape. It is a miracle of our time that so many of us in so many places can experience Gangaji's meetings.

For a couple of hours a week, time stands still, awareness expands and softens into infinity, and we rest in the depth of Being. Such fortune, such joy, such love. . .  Penny in Australia

Hosting a video satsang meeting always feels like an extraordinary blessing. Preparing the space shifts my energy from the busy-ness of life to the sacred in life. When we come together with sacred intention, there is nothing that can match that inner experience shared. . .  Muhasibi in California

Hosting Video Satsang

The primary requirements for hosting video meetings with Gangaji in your community are:

  •   your desire to share this gift with others
  •   a television, a DVD player, and a suitable location
  •   a source of videotapes
  •   a way to notify people of your meeting

The meeting location could be your own living room, a friend's house, or a room in a local community building. For a source of tapes, many people start building their satsang groups with videos they have already accumulated. When these videos have been fully appreciated—don't hesitate to view your tapes more than once—additional videos can be purchased from the Foundation. There is a 10% discount on tapes ordered by subscription. You can collect voluntary donations at your meetings to help buy tapes.

To notify people, we recommend creating a meeting announcement that you can give to friends, post in appropriate locations, send via email or postal mail, and also perhaps include in local publications or web sites. We will search the Foundation mailing list to see if there are people in your area to whom we can mail your announcement. In addition, when you start hosting meetings, be sure to notify us so we can list your contact information on the web site and on handouts that are available at meetings with Gangaji.

If you are already hosting a video satsang group and are not in our listing, or if you want to start a group, click confidential form to send us your contact information.

If you have questions or would like to talk with us about starting a group, leave a message for the Video Satsang Coordinators in our voicemail at the Gangaji Foundation, 800-267-9205, ext. 414, and we will call you back. Thank you! for all the wonderful videos you've been sending our way. Every one of them is so deeply filled with truth and our satsang group is always so very thankful and eager to hear each video. You are changing lives through this program.--Video Satsang Host
