I thank you for the support you have offered, not just for yourself, but so that all being may awaken to itself everywhere, in all times, past, present, and future. Then what we are about in our interactions, in our tears, and in our laughter is much bigger than some little blip that happens briefly on a planet somewhere on the edge of a universe. It is huge. The effects cannot be known because it is beyond the capacity of knowing. But the effects can be directly experienced in the willingness to share all. For some people it is shared with words. For some people it is time. For some people it is money. For some people it is simply attention—attention to what is true, attention to the truth of who one is.

Supporting Gangaji's Work

The programs offered by The Gangaji Foundation continue to unfold and grow in response to the call from around the world for this message of freedom. Programs such as the prison program, Gangaji on public access television, the scholarship program, and the new interactive video meetings program continue to be developed, reaching more people each year. These programs are sustained entirely by the generous contributions of both time and money from our dedicated volunteers and donors.

The Gangaji Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. Your contributions are tax deductible and will be used wisely and respectfully to support the programs in the most need and to keep our events and products priced affordably and available for all.

Here are some of the ways you can support Gangaji's work:

Gifts of Cash or Assets

Direct gifts of cash, stock, or assets are gratefully received. This past year we received several gifts in the form of stock holdings which allowed us to strengthen the Foundation's Bedrock Fund and finish our fiscal year on a sound footing.

You can donate on line by clicking the donation basket, or by connecting with Paldrom, our Financial Manager, at paldrom@gangaji.org.

A Dollar A Day

It is amazing how far one dollar can reach! One of the projects supported in part by dollar a day donations in 2000 was the new prison video, which highlights the Gangaji Foundation prison program. So far, we have received over one hundred requests for more information from prisoners whose chaplains recently received a free copy of the video. That same video touched a woman in South Africa so deeply that she has made a commitment to making it available to prisoners in her country.

Continuous Support

In the past year, The Gangaji Foundation gave $52,000 in event scholarships as well as many free gifts of videos, audios, and books so that access to Gangaji and her message is not limited, even when individual resources are. The Scholarship Program is just one of the many programs your continuous support gift will nourish.

Gift Annuities and Charitable Trusts

The Gangaji Foundation offers a number of opportunities for giving deferred gifts that lets you make a contribution to the Foundation now while still maintaining the benefits of your assets for many years to come. One way to make a deferred gift is simply to remember the Foundation in your will.

Another kind of deferred gift is a gift annuity, which allows you to make a gift of cash or assets now, providing a charitable contribution to the Foundation, while also receiving a fixed income payment for life, a portion of which will be tax free.

Charitable trusts are another kind of deferred gifting which allows you to tailor your gift to fit your particular stage of life, family responsibilities, or financial obligations. For example, a grandparent can set up a "lead trust," which allows them to make a gift now, receive tax free income for life, and know that the gift principle will return to their grandchildren at a pre-selected time — for example, when the grandchildren enter college or upon the grandparent's death.
