The Gift Inside |

"Recently, I had the great privilege of visiting Folsom Prison where I met with ninety-five men, many of whom are incarcerated for life. This meeting was a meeting of love beautiful, open, respectful, and deep. Many of these men are big, burly and tough looking, yet here they were weeping in love, trusting one another, and sending their support to you. This meeting, and the awakening that was present in this meeting, is a gift that I bring from them to you. And I was happy to let them know I bring their love to you. Since they are in prison, and since many are in for life, there is also an inability to avoid the truth of the moment. Life is in their face. No hope is being offered. And they have chosen to face that. They have chosen to tell the truth. In the willingness for life to be in your face, there is the discovery of what is closer than hope, closer than past or future. Whatever your past, whatever your future, it is irrelevant to the divine presence that is truly who you are. These men speak of the grace of consciously recognizing that. They confirm that the essence of pure nectar, the nourishment of absolute being, is right here, right now, wherever you are." |
