The Jewel in Disillusionment
Most of the prolonged suffering of our lives directly relates to our resistance to disillusionment. Perhaps the most painful disillusion of form is our idealized views of loved ones—our parents, our friends, our leaders, our teachers, and even our gods. To fully experience the pain
generated, when the idealized image of a beloved form dissolves, can be the gateway to liberation. To avoid experiencing this particular death leads to torment of self and other.
This compilation includes monologues and interactions selected from a 7-day retreat held in Ashland in January 2007. The retreat was offered in support of those interested in directly experiencing the pain of the dissolution of imagined or physical form, so that what lies underneath can be realized.

The Moment of Choice
