"For 12 years I have hosted video groups in prisons. When I tell people that I do this, a lot of people comment on how generous I am to give my time like this. Honestly, it is highpoint of the entire week for me. There really is no sense of me coming in and helping them. It is a chance for all of us to be together in truth." -Chris

Many volunteers report how deeply fulfilling it is to host a video group in prison. It is an opportunity to meet self-to-self, without reference to the past or the usual identifications, and freshly discover the peace that is present in all circumstances and in the heart of all being. If you are interested in making a commitment to hosting a video group in a prison near you, we will provide the mentoring needed to support you in the process.

Correspondence Program

The Gangaji Foundation Prison Program actually began with a prisoner's letter to Gangaji. Today, our correspondence program pairs prisoners and volunteers in letter writing, giving everyone the opportunity to connect and share their spiritual insights and deepen in the discovery of who one is in truth.

Prison Program Administration

At the Foundation's Ashland offices, there are a variety of on-going administrative tasks that serve the Prison Program. They include responding to prisoners' requests for books and videos, managing files for the correspondence program, and maintaining database information. Your time and expertise is most welcome here, and it is a delightful way to support this meeting in truth.
